BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - A local humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization is standing by to assist victims of a tornado in Joplin, Missouri.
Matthew 25: Ministries in Blue Ash is working to assess the damage of this disaster and the needs of the victims. Matthew 25: Ministries will be launching disaster relief efforts immediately once partners are ready to receive shipments.
The organization also sent shipments to the victims of the tornadoes in Alabama.
At least 89 people have died as a result of the tornado in Joplin, Mo., and that number is expected to climb. As much as 25 to 30 percent of Joplin may have been damaged or destroyed.
