One person rescued from 2-alarm fire

EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - At least one person was rescued from a 2-alarm fire in Evanston early Tuesday afternoon.

The fire broke out around 1 p.m. in the first floor of a multi-family unit in the 3200 block of Fairfield Avenue.

Initial reports were that residents were trapped on the third floor.

The fire is out. One person was taken to the hospital, and another treated at the scene, but there is no word on their injuries.
