BROWN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle.

The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday on Bardwell West Road, just west of U.S. 68 in Brown County's Green Township.

Police say a motorcycle driven by Ronald Sydnor, 26, of Sardinia, was traveling westbound on Bardwell West when he failed to navigate a curve and traveled left of center, striking a pick up truck driven by Tonia Cahill, who was traveling eastbound.

Both vehicles came to a rest in the westbound lanes and caught fire.

Sydnor was pronounced dead at the scene. Cahill and her passenger, Ronald Petrey, 47, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
