A suspect was injured after falling from a retaining wall during a chase with police.
Just before 3 a.m., a Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy attempted to stop a Honda Civic at the intersection of Cella Drive and Dolomar Drive for a stop sign violation.
The suspect failed to stop and the deputy initiated a traffic pursuit. The pursuit lasted about four minutes, covered 3.1 miles and reached speeds of about 70 miles per hour.
The pursuit ended at the intersection of Lakevalley Drive and Deerlake Court, where the driver fled on foot.
During the foot pursuit, the suspect was injured when he fell from a retaining wall. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Western Ridge for minor injuries.
The suspect has been identified as Geoffrey Harrison, 29. He has been released from the hospital and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center, where he is charged with failure to comply, driving under suspension, obstructing official business and disobeying a traffic control device.
