EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - A resident of an Evanston apartment that caught fire on Tuesday afternoon has been charged with arson.
Investigators say Fidel Christon, 24, purposefully set a fire in the 3200 block of Fairfield Avenue. He is charged with two counts of aggravated arson.
One person was rescued and taken to the hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and another was treated at the scene. The fire caused about $50,000 in damage.
Christon is being held on a $1 million bond. There is no word on why he allegedly set the fire.
