Arrests have been made after an altercation leads to a shooting in Kenton County on Wednesday afternoon.
A short time after 2:30pm, Kenton County Police were called to the 9300 block of Locust Pike in Ryland Heights for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found 52-year-old Jeffery Spicer with a gunshot wound to his upper right arm.
Investigators discovered that Spicer was shot during an altercation at a home on the 9900 block of Locust Pike.
He was transported to University Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
The resident at the 9900 block of Locust Pike, 52-year-old Jerry Mardis, was taken into custody and charged with Assault.
A 47-year-old woman was also taken into custody and charged for an unrelated offense.
Both Mardis and the woman are currently being held at the Kenton County Detention Center.
