LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The National Weather Service has confirmed that tornado did touch down in Liberty Township.
NWS officials say the tornado occurred at about 12:28 a.m. Thursday morning.
The damage survey is ongoing and the Fujita scale rating of the tornado has not yet been determined, but officials estimate wind speeds of up to 110 miles per hour.
Damage from this tornado included home damage in Glen Hollow Drive, where most of the roof was ripped off. Luckily, the family inside the home was not injured.
Five other homes suffered moderate damage, and one car was flipped over.
NWS officials are also in Fairfield, Ohio and Greensburg, Ind. checking out storm damage there to determine if a tornado touched down.
