CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police Officers from all five districts spent two shifts on Wednesday working to find vehicles with multiple unpaid parking tickets.
Police impounded 90 vehicles with a total of 250 delinquent citations.
Officers working from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. towed 37 vehicles with 112 outstanding citations. Officers working from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. towed 53 vehicles with 138 outstanding citations.
Officers also encountered 14 people who took advantage of an amnesty program currently in force to pay outstanding tickets in person or online.
During this directed enforcement effort, officers also arrested four people who had outstanding misdemeanor warrants and recovered one stolen vehicle.
