Man nearly runs over police officer

A man is behind bars after police say he attempted to run over a Cincinnati Police Officer with his car.

Michael Nix, 34, is charged with felonious assault.

The incident happened Wednesday evening on Mulberry Street. Nix was arrested Thursday morning.

Police say an officer was attempted to stop Nix, and Nix tried to run the officer over. The officer was not seriously hurt.
