Two arrested for stealing money from elderly woman while acting as guardians

DRY RIDGE, KY (FOX19) - The Kentucky State Police have arrested two people for stealing from an elderly woman while acting as her guardian.

An investigation started when relatives of an elderly woman living at a local nursing home made a complaint to police. Police determined that the two men acting as the elderly female's guardian, over a 2 ½ year span of time, spent approximately $55,000 of her money.

Eric G. Carpenter, 41, and Raymond D. Hudson, 41, both of Lexington, were both arrested and charged with Knowingly Exploiting an Adult Resulting in a Financial Loss.
