Cincinnati Police dog retires from the force


CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - After 56 dog years of service, a member of the police K-9 unit is retiring from the force.

Cyrus is a 10-year-old German Shepherd, who spent 8 years with the Cincinnati Police working with Officer Robert Boyce. The two were honored Friday during a retirement ceremony At the K-9 unit headquarters in Mount Airy Forest.

Cyrus has tracked suspects, searched buildings, and recovered evidence for the Cincinnati Police Department.
