HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Police have identified a robbery suspect and an accomplice who led police on a chase early Sunday morning.
Police say that a man robbed the Circle K at 2206 Grand Blvd. in Hamilton around 5 a.m. on Sunday. The clerk described him as a black male, along with other physical characteristics.
While responding to the call, a Hamilton Police Officer passed a car leaving the area and speeding. The officer tried to stop the vehicle, but the car sped away. A short pursuit followed, and then both occupants tried to run away on foot.
The driver was caught immediately, and patrol officers were able to track down the second person in a nearby apartment.
The suspects have been identified as Jeff Douglas, 43, and Bryce Cambero, 38, both of Hamilton. Douglas is charged with failure to comply and robbery. Cambero is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, failure to comply, having weapons under disability and robbery. Police say Cambero was the driver and Douglas was the passenger.
