Coroner: Body found in Great Miami River could be missing Franklin Township teen

A body has been found in the Great Miami River in Franklin Township, near the area where police were searching for a missing teenager on Sunday. A representative from the Warren County Coroner's Office says the body found could be that missing teen.

The body was found around Noon Tuesday. Authorities are still searching the area. Officials have not released the identity of the body found in the river; however, the Warren County Coroner's office says the body is a male. Due to the heavy decomposition to the body caused by the record heat in the area, the body will have to be identified by dental records. There is no word on how long the body was in the river before it was found.

A Franklin Township teen went missing last week. Cody Pressler, 18, was last seen Friday around 3 p.m. in downtown Franklin.

Sunday, Franklin Fire Department conducted a search of the Great Miami River in Franklin because a citizen reported hearing a cry for help from the river. Nothing was found during the search.

He is described as a white male 5'10" and 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with and owl on it, blue jeans and possibly a wind-breaker.

Anyone who knows Pressler's whereabouts or may have information that may be helpful to this case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 513-352-3040 or the Warren County Sheriff's Office at 513-932-4080
