Man arrested for shooting in Florence over money

COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - The Covington Police Department working with Florence Police Detectives arrested a man on Thursday who they believe was responsible for a shooting over money.

Monday afternoon, Florence Police were called to the Heritage Inn on Commerce Drive for a report of a shooting. There, they found Jeremy Hill, 34, shot in the stomach. He was then transported to University Hospital.

Florence Police say that Nathaniel Williams Jr., 27, shot Jeremy Hill over an undetermined amount of money. After a search team where SWAT was called, Williams was unable to be located.

On Thursday, Williams was arrested at a home on Russell Street in Covington. He was arrested without incident.
