CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

With Cincinnati's Streetcar project in the air, Cincinnati City Council Member, Wendell Young, wants to look into the possibility of a modern incline system.

Inclines are nothing new to the Cincinnati area. There are pictures from more than 100 years ago, from Mt. Adams, Mt. Auburn and Price Hill.

The idea for the project is that it would connect downtown, Over-The-Rhine and Mt. Adams. The reason behind the incline would be because of the casino project.

Cities, such as Pittsburgh and Los Angles, still use inclines.

The motion is expected to go to City Council's Budget and Finance Committee this week.
