COLUMBUS, OH (FOX19) - The Ohio Department of Commerce, Video Service Authorization Section, has received notice from Crystal Broadband Networks that they will no longer be providing cable service to towns in Butler, Preble, Highland and Brown counties.
State law requires a company give customers notice 90 days before ceasing operations. The notification period is to give customers an opportunity to make other arrangements.
Crystal Broadband says customers have until June 30, 2011 to make other arrangements.
Customers affected include Hanover Township, Milford Township, Jacksonburg Village, Reily Township, Oxford Township, St. Clair Township, Madison Township and Wayne Township in Butler County; Mowrystown Village and White Oak Township in Highland County; Israel Township in Preble County and Washington Township and Sardinia Village in Brown County.
