ATLANTA (AP) - The Indiana Pacers are heading to a place where they haven't had much success. The Pacers have won only twice in Atlanta since December 2006. Indiana still has plenty of work to do before it can think about escaping the first round. The Hawks swiped the home-court edge with a stunning win in the opener.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Pacers guard Lance Stephenson acknowledged that he and Evan Turner got into a practice "scuffle" last week before Game 1 against Atlanta but denied the two threw any punches. Coach Frank Vogel and Indiana's players concurred with Stephenson's version of events. Turner said they got tangled up but that there was no fight.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis will open this season at AFC champion Denver in a Sunday night showdown pitting quarterback Peyton Manning against his former team. It's the second time Manning has faced the Colts. Indy won the first meeting in October. It's one of four prime-time games for the defending AFC South champs.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Andrew Luck is eager to see some old faces on the practice field. Luck and the Colts spent much of last season patching holes after starting tight end Dwayne Allen, starting running back Vick Ballard, Ahmad Bradshaw, starting guard Donald Thomas and Pro Bowl receiver Reggie Wayne all sustained season-ending injuries. All five were back in the locker room yesterday.
