Miami Redhawks offering unique ticket deals for fans

OXFORD, OH (FOX19) -

Miami University is looking to boost tickets sales by running some new deals for fans looking to purchase tickets. The University says that any new Miami Football Season Ticket Holder who purchases two or more Miami Football season tickets for the 2011 season OR any current Miami Football Season Ticket Holder who refers a new Season Ticket Holder (referral must have been indicated on official order form) will be eligible to win a variety of 16 valuable "Miami Experience" prizes.

Winners will be awarded every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during the month of July (except July 4th) through a random drawing conducted by Miami Athletics and announced on their website, www.MURedHawks.com. Miami's Ticket Office also will contact the winners to notify them of the prize they have won and to coordinate details of obtaining their prize.

The orders of new season ticket holders must be received by July 15th, 2011 to be eligible for any of the 16 drawings.

Miami Football Season Ticket Holder Prizes:

  • Four complimentary passes to sit in the Athletic Director's suite at a TBD game
  • Four sideline passes to a mutually agreeable game between both parties (must be 13 years of age or older)
  • A signed Don Treadwell football
  • Adidas team running shoes
  • Miami Football Adidas team apparel package
  • Four additional reserved tickets to the October 29th Homecoming game against Buffalo
  • Dinner for two with one TBD Miami Football Coach at Paesano's Pasta House in Oxford, OH on a TBD date
  • Lunch for two with Athletic Director, Brad Bates at Kona Bistro in Oxford, OH on a TBD date
  • Two reserved Ice Hockey tickets to any home game (exception - CCHA Playoffs and Michigan series) during the 2011-2012 season
  • Two reserved Men's & Women's Basketball tickets to any home game during the 2011-2012 season
  • A signed Miami team football
  • Two complimentary tickets to the 2011 Miami Football post-season banquet
  • Complimentary John Morrell Friends and Family Football Foursome to September 24th game
  • Miami Football jersey with your own name and number personalized on the back of it.
  • Golf for three with a Miami Football Coach at Indian Ridge GC at a time mutually agreeable between Coach and the winner
  • Miami Football Throwback helmet with customized number on the side that was worn during the 2011 GoDaddy.com Bowl.

The Miami season's schedule includes six home games, including rival Cincinnati (Oct. 1) and West Point's Army (Oct. 8). Other games slated for Yager in 2011 include Bowling Green (Sept. 24, Family Day), Buffalo (Oct. 29, Homecoming), Akron (Nov. 3) and Western Michigan (Nov. 16). Season tickets start at just $70.
