A short time before 3:00pm Kentucky State Police were called to an accident on Western Kentucky Parkway. Officials say 56-year-old Rose Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio was driving when she overcorrected, reentered the roadway, crossed both eastbound lanes and went off the right shoulder of the road striking a tree.

The front seat passenger, 80-year-old Marion Petrie of Fairview, Kentucky, and rear passenger, 38-year-old Yolanda Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio died at the scene from their injuries in the collision.

Davis was transported to University of Louisville Hospital by Airmethod's Transportation where she sustained serious injuries.
