CORRYVILLE, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati Police officer fired a shot at an arson suspect Wednesday morning in Corryville.
Investigators say officers were looking for three suspects who were accused of setting numerous fires in trash cans and dumpsters.
When officers arrived, they found three suspects who matched the description of the arsonists.
Police say one of the suspects, Mitchell Moore, 19, started walking away from the officers and started running from the investigation site.
Police say Moore flashed a gun when officers caught up with him, so one of the officers fired at him. The shot missed Moore, and he fell to the ground. That is when he was taken into custody.
Moore, who is homeless, is charged with felonious assault. He is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
