CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Health Department has released the most popular names for babies born in the city in 2010.
Olivia was the most popular name for newborn girls and William was most popular for newborn boys, according to a list released by the Cincinnati Health Department's Vital Records Office.
There were 3,657 Cincinnati births filed in 2010. Below is a list of the top 10 most popular boys' and girls' names for babies born in Cincinnati, to Cincinnati residents, last year:
The lists are similar to the national most popular list distributed earlier this year by the Social Security Administration. William is fifth on the national list, while Olivia is fourth. Jacob and Isabella were the most popular names nationwide.
The City of Cincinnati's Vital Statistics office is the third largest in Ohio, issuing 48,000 birth certificates and 18,000 death certificates in 2010.
