Warrant issued in Ft. Wright bank robbery

FORT WRIGHT, KY (FOX19) -

Police have issued a warrant for a man they believe to be responsible for a Ft. Wright bank robbery on Wednesday.

Ronny Ray Stutes, 47, is wanted for Robbery in the Second Degree for the robbery of the Bank of Kentucky on the Dixie Highway in Fort Wright. Police also says Stutes has a warrant for escape.

The bank robbery happened Wednesday morning at about 9 a.m. at the Bank of Kentucky on Dixie Highway in Fort Wright. Before that, police also say Stutes stole a car from a dealership in Florence.

Police describe Stutes as having receding brown hair of medium length. He was last seen wearing glasses, a gray t-shirt, light colored shorts, white socks and tennis shoes. He was last seen driving a 2009 Dark Gray Toyota Scion XB, with Kentucky License Plate #371-JLH.
