COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - The 11th Annual Goettafest, ranked as a top 10 festival by the Kentucky Tourism Council, is back at Covington's Mainstrasse Village this weekend.
Goetta was brought to Northern Kentucky by early German immigrants and has been a breakfast staple in the Cincinnati area for many years. Goettafest will feature Goetta Pizza, Goetta Reubens, Goetta Balls, Goetta Chedda' Cheese, Goetta Chili, Goetta and Cheese Omelet and Goetta Burgers.
Games, children's activities, rides, arts, crafts, music and entertainment will fill the Sixth Street Promenade and Goebel Park.
Goettafest runs Friday from 5 to 11:30 p.m., Saturday from noon until 11:30 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
