IN man faces a maximum of 166 years in prison for child molestation

AURORA, IN (FOX19) -

A Dearborn County man has been convicted of five counts of child molestation.

Matthew D. Thies, 25, of Aurora, Indiana, engaged in sexual intercourse, deviate sexual conduct and fondling of his 10-year-old victim over a period of several months in 2010. The five counts consists of three Class A felonies and two Class C felonies.

A jury found Thies guilty on all charges after sitting through several days of graphic testimony.

Sentencing is tentatively scheduled for July 14th. Thies faces 20 to 50 years on each Class A felony and two to eight years on the Class C felony counts.
