Man arrested after bar fight leads to shooting in parking lot

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Police have arrested a man for shooting another man in both legs Saturday morning outside a local pub.

Anthony Vanaman, 23, was arrested Tuesday night during a traffic stop. He was taken to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Vanaman and Floyd Whaley, 26, began fighting inside the Brewers Pub in the 3200 block of Springdale Road in Colerain Township around 2 a.m. on Saturday. Both men went outside and continued fighting. When Whaley tried to walk away, Vanaman fired shots.

When Colerain Police and Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on the scene, Whaley was transported to University Hospital, treated for his injuries and released.

Vanaman fled the scene in a light blue PT Cruiser before officers arrived. Police had been looking for him.
