Cincinnati State will host a three-day leadership summit that is designed to help high school students and reduce the number of teen dropouts.
The Summer Leadership Summit will be heavily student focused and will involve many students from Upward Bound, Gear Up, and Project Grad programs who will be spending their summer at Cincinnati State in programs for college- bound students.
State Senator Eric Kearney will be the Keynote Speaker for the first day of the conference. He will speak to students on Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the auditorium of the Advanced Technology and learning Center.
The Conference that will go from Tuesday until Thursday will feature presentations on public debate strategies and techniques, Roberts Rule of Order, and the importance of setting goals.
The Conference will also have a forum for discussion on way to reduce toe dropout rate.
