The Reds took on the Yankees in the first of a three game series in front of a standing room only crowd.
This was a Monday night game that brought out the fans, and the fanatics.
"I am a die hard fan, and I love them," said one woman who came all the way from Indianapolis to cheer on the Yankees. The Yankees have not played in Cincinnati since 2003.
"It's on, we've got to beat them, it's huge," said one Reds fan.
Fans came to satisfy their curiosity about the Yankees, a team consistently rated the best in the MLB.
"They are an old club, and they have been good for many years, and the are very interesting to see," said one Reds fan.
The Yankees took the first game of the series, winning 5-3.
