Former assistant fire chief pleads guilty to unlawful sexual conduct

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

A former assistant fire chief has pled guilty to charges of unlawful sexual conduct involving a teenage girl.

Matthew Johnson, 46, appeared in court on Tuesday, where he pled guilty to two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

Johnson is a former assistant fire chief with St. Clair Township.

He was arrested in March on allegations that he had sexual contact on two separate occasions with a female under 16.

His sentencing is scheduled for August 2.
