Suspect accused of stabbing asst. prosecutor competent to stand trial

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A suspect accused of stabbing a Butler County assistant prosecutor and her brother has been found competent to stand trial.

James Terry, 43, is accused of stabbing Kelly O'Keefe, 32, and James O'Keefe, 27, in Fairfield in May.

Terry has pled not guilty by reason of insanity to several charges, including aggravated burglary, aggravated attempted murder and felonious assault.

His trial is scheduled for Sept. 19.
