CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - One hundred of Cincinnati's aspiring singers are auditioning Friday for a chance to sing at the Western and Southern Open in August.
A group of talented 7 to 12 year-olds will belt out "America the Beautiful" or "God Bless America," and get to play a little tennis too on the USTA QuickStart courts.
The Western and Southern Open is August 13-21 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason.
A celebrity panel of judges will choose 15 participants to perform at the tournament. FOX19's Tracey Johnson is among the celebrity judges.
Pre-registration for the auditions is full. A limited number of walk-up registrants permitted; however, there is no guarantee they will perform.
Auditions begin at noon on Fountain Square.
