A woman is facing charges after claiming she was HIV positive, then biting a police officer.
Officers responded to the home of Danielle Duncan, 30, for a domestic dispute. According to court documents, punched her boyfriend in the face and hit him in the head with a coffee pot.
The boyfriend suffered lacerations on his head. Police say the couple has a child together, and three children, ages 11, 5 and 2, were present at the time of the incident.
As officers tried to arrest Duncan, she bit one of them in the arm, and then told the officer she was HIV positive and had hepatitis.
Duncan is charged with felonious assault and domestic violence. Her bond has been set at $300,000.
