Officials in Columbus say a 20-year-old man faces arson charges after admitting he set weekend fires at four addresses and a portable restroom.
Four fires were set along one street Saturday afternoon, and arson investigators spotted the suspect after midnight at a fast food restaurant in the same neighborhood. WCMH-TV reports the buildings damaged or destroyed by the blazes appeared to be vacant. No injuries were reported.
A spokesman for the Columbus Division of Fire says suspect Michael Taylor was charged with one count of felony arson and is expected to face more charges.
Taylor was taken to jail, and officials had no information on whether he had an attorney.
They say he previously was charged in a garage fire but was not jailed in that case.
