COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Covington Police say charges are not expected against a driver who knocked a man into the Ohio River last week.
Abdoulaye Yattara was stopped on the Brent Spence Bridge Friday morning when his car broke down in the right lane. A good Samaritan stopped to help him, and when Yattara went around the passenger side to say something to the driver, a Toyota minivan rear ended the good Samaritan, knocking Yattara into the river.
Capt. Teal Nally with Covington Police says charges against the driver of the minivan, Kenneth Hickman, 67, of Fairfield, are not anticipated.
Yattara's body was found early Saturday morning after almost 24 hours of searching. Yattara's funeral was held Monday afternoon.
