Armed robbers choke victim, take hundreds in cash

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Police have released surveillance video of two men who they say were involved in a strong arm robbery last week.

Shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, two men allegedly robbed a victim at 2975 Wardall Avenue. Police say the victim was choked by the first suspect, while the second suspect took $350.

The first suspect is described as a white man in his mid 20s, 6' 3'', 180 lbs, with tattoos covering both forearms. He was wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts, black hightop sneakers and a green flat bill baseball hat at the time of the robbery.

The second suspect is also a white man in his mid 20s. He is 5' 10'', 165 lbs, with blonde hair in a buzz cut and a mildly receding hair line. He also has tattoos covering both forearms.  At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts, and black "van's" shoes.

Both suspects are known to frequent the areas around Glenmore and Montana Avenues.
