Campbell County Schools got a new superintendent.

Glen Miller comes to the district from Beechwood Independent School District where he served as superintendent since 2007. He has also worked in the school district in various positions since 1984.

"It is truly an honor to be able to come back home to Campbell County and serve the students, faculty and staff of Campbell County Schools," said Miller. "I'm excited for the opportunity to lead the district as it reaches new levels of success."

Miller lived in Campbell County in 1982 and his wife graduated from Campbell County High School.

"Mr. Miller is an experienced, proven leader," said Board Chair Janis Winbigler of the selection. "Beechwood has been a nationally ranked high school under his leadership and we're hoping we can benefit from that experience in Campbell County."

Miller replaces Anthony Strong who resigned from the district in May after being named superintendent of Pendleton County Schools.
