Little Miami Schools trying to fill open positions
MORROW, OH (FOX19) -
The Little Miami School District is trying to fill several open positions and ask voters to support a levy in November.
School leaders say if a levy is not passed, more cuts will have to be made.
Little Miami's financial problems have been a major factor in keeping jobs, causing six district administrators to leave.
On Tuesday, the district filled some of those voids.
The district named a new junior high school principal and a new temporary high school principal. Also approved on Tuesday was new assistant principals at the high school level and junior high school level. Two of the positions were filled by retirees coming back on a temporary basis.
District superintendent Dan Bennett says getting some of the administrators in place will help the district move forward.
