Teens arrested for Ripley Co. burglary

OSGOOD, IN (FOX19) - Two teenagers have been arrested for breaking into a home in Ripley County.

The incident occurred on June 21, 2011 just before 8:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of north Delaware Road.

The homeowner reported that he had observed two white males operating a smaller pickup truck, arrive at his residence and enter his garage, removing items, and fleeing from the scene.

The homeowner, who had called 911 during the incident, was able to give a description of the subjects along with the vehicle, resulting in their apprehension by Ripley County Sheriff's Deputies who observed the suspect vehicle traveling south on CR 300 East, a couple of miles away from the residence.

As a result of an investigation into the incident, Andrew E. Hill Michael A. Adams, both 18 and from Osgood, Ind. were arrested.

Hill and Adams are charged with Burglary of a Structure, Theft and Possession of Marijuana.
