Kathleen Sebelius speaks at LULAC convention

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius spoke at the 82nd annual LULAC convention Thursday afternoon.

Secretary Sebelius, a Cincinnati native, worked hand in hand with President Obama in passing the Affordable Care Act, which she says benefits millions of Hispanic families.

At the luncheon on Thursday afternoon, Sebelius praised LULAC, saying "You have always fought for one simple goal, the heart of the American dream. That equal opportunity for all people is critical, no matter what their background or heritage might be."

On Thursday, LULAC also held the Youth Awards, hosted by former Cincinnati Bengal Anthony Munoz, and held a concert from Los Lobos.
