GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A man is behind bars, after police say he stabbed a 17-year-old boy in the back early Saturday morning.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and the Green Township Police department were both sent to the corner of Bridgetown and Westport Roads shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday morning, after calls came in reporting a stabbing.
When they arrived, officers say they found a 17-year-old had been stabbed in the back and had then been taken to Powner Road by a friend. The suspect was known to be 22-year-old Edward Rogers III. Police located Rogers at 2:05 a.m. near his home in Colerain Township.
Rogers is being charged with Felonious Assault and Improper Handling of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle.
