FAIRFIELD TWP, OH (FOX19) - A water main break in Fairfield Township has caused a sinkhole which has closed down an intersection.
The Butler County Engineers Office has closed the intersection of Hamilton-Mason Road and Morris Road and has placed barriers and road closure signs.
A fire hydrant is also out of service in the area. This road closure has a major affect for safety services and convenience to the local residents due to the closure of Hamilton Mason Road and Bypass 4 just to the west of this closure.
The intersection will remain closed until repairs can be made sometime next week.
