Police investigate two separate stabbings in Hamilton

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

Hamilton Police are investigating two separate stabbings that occurred Wednesday night.

The first one happened around between 10:45 and 11:15 p.m.  in the Lindenwald area.

The victim said he was walking when he was approached by an unknown male and the two became involved in a verbal argument. The suspect pulled a knife and slashed the victim in the chest and neck.

The suspect fled the scene and the victim walked to the 200 block of Fairview Avenue for help. He was taken to University Hospital.

The second stabbing was reported around 11:40 p.m. on Grand Boulevard and 12th Street. The victim says he was assaulted by multiple suspects and suffered cuts on his arms, scratches on his chest and a cut on his head. He was taken to Fort Hamilton Hospital.
