Former BOE director pleads not guilty

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - The former director of the Butler County Board of Elections entered a plea of not guilty in court on Wednesday.

Tippi Slaughter is accused of theft in office for allegedly associating with a man accused of breaking into the elections office.

Slaughter faces 18-months in prison if convicted.

Her trial is scheduled to begin Nov. 14.
