LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Three people are behind bars after a home invasion in Liberty Township. One of the people arrested is the victim's daughter.
The incident happened Thursday morning around 4:35 a.m. at a home on Elderberry Court.
Police say a 43-year-old female told police that two black men entered her bedroom with handguns demanding money and her cell phone. The suspects attempted to duct tape her mouth, but she was able to fight them off.
The suspects fled with jewelry and a cell phone. The suspect suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
As a result of a police investigation, officers arrested Ed C. Willis, 21, and Dan McElroy, 21, both of Cincinnati, and charged them with aggravated robbery and theft. The juvenile daughter of the victim was also charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and theft. She is being held at the Butler County Juvenile Detention Center.
