Early morning crash kills Manchester man not wearing his seatbelt

WEST UNION, OH (FOX19) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an early-morning fatal crash that happened just west of Manchester, Ohio.

Police say Daniel Littleton, 24, was driving west on U.S. 52 around 5:45 Saturday morning when the car he was driving went left of center. Littleton's car collided with another heading east, driven by Barbara Baldwin, 55.

The impact of the collision then forced Littleton's car into the path of a semi-truck. As a result, all three vehicles were heavily damaged.

Littleton was pronounced dead at the scene by a representative of the Adams County Coroner's Office. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Baldwin and her four juvenile passengers were all treated at the scene and released. The semi driver, Joseph Bailey, 54, was not injured. Bailey, Baldwin and her four passengers were all wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
