Reds Scott Rolen replacing Braves Chipper Jones in All-Star Game

Cincinnati Reds third baseman Scott Rolen will be replacing Chipper Jones of the Atlanta Braves in this year's All-Star game in Phoenix.

Jones who made the All-Star team by the player's ballot has been placed on the disabled list. Rolen was the next highest ranked third basemen on the national League Player Ballot.

This will be Rolen's seventh All-Star game in his 16 year MLB career. He has batted at .282 in his career and has 308 home runs and 1,247 RBI and eight golden gloves.
