Kahlua and barbecue sauce Baby Back Ribs.
Mix 3 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce, 1 tablespoon of Kosher salt. and 1 cup of Kahlua coffee liquor, and set aside.
Brush 1/4 cup of the mixture to both sides of 2 whole slabs of baby back ribs.
Sear over a hot grille and add meat tenderizer while grilling for about 3 minutes on each side.
Place ribs in a large deep baking dish and pour the rest of the sauce over the ribs
Cover with aluminum foil and cook in a preheated 300 degree oven for three to four hours.
Do not uncover until meat falls off the bones, check after 2 1/2 hours.
Enjoy.
Refreshing Kahlua iced coffee.
Dissolve 2 tablespoons of instant coffee in a cup of hot water. You may also use decaffeinated coffee if you prefer.
Place the coffee in a blender and add 3 cups of ice cubes.
Pour 1/2 cup of Kahlua (or more if you desire). Add 1/2 cup of cold water and 6 packets sugar substitute (or sugar if you prefer). Add to taste.
Blend together and if it is too thick add some fat free half and half.
Pre-freeze 3 glass mugs in the freezer and serve the drink in these mugs. Very refreshing!
