Juvenile burglar falls through ceiling of Big Lots; arrested

AURORA, IN (FOX19) - Two juveniles have been arrested and another is at large after one fell through the ceiling of the Aurora, Indiana Big Lots Tuesday morning.

Just after 5 a.m. in Aurora, Indiana, police were called to Big Lots because a suspicious person fell through the ceiling of the store.

Store employees were inside the store and witnessed the person fall. According to the Aurora Police Department, the person entered the vent on the roof of the store and fell through the ventilation duct work to the floor in the store. The person fled the store after seeing the employees.

A juvenile was arrested in the Car Country Sales lot just before 5:30 a.m. by Lawrenceburg Police.

A second juvenile was arrested by Aurora Police at Wal-Mart Super center around 8:30 a.m. after employees were alerted by the reports of the incident at Big Lots and saw a juvenile who they thought might be involved.

Police are searching for a third juvenile suspect. Police know his identity, but because he is a juvenile, they will not release his name. He is described as 5'8" and around 125 pounds with blonde hair. He was last seen in the area behind Big Lots.

The damage to the Big Lots building is extensive, but a dollar amount is not yet know.

The case remains under investigation.
