A spokesman for Georgetown College says today's deadline date to hold Bengals training camp on campus is now pushed back.
Todd Gambill says the school and the Bengals will remain flexible into next week while waiting to hear if an NFL agreement is struck.
Gambill called July 15th the original "fish or cut bait" date set by his school and the Bengals to have the facilities ready in time for the scheduled player arrival of July 27th. However, Gambill says his staff is preparing as if there will be a training camp and his facility will be ready "at the drop of a hat" if the NFL lockout is lifted.
Gambill also says the Bengals will help with fixed costs, like field preparation, even if they don't come to Georgetown this summer for training camp.
