Council candidate uses unique pool party to spread his name
A candidate for Cincinnati City Council uses a unique approach to reach out to voters.
Chris Seelbach hosted a pool party in Over-the-Rhine Sunday. But the pool was far from your regular swimming hole - it was a dumpster.
The dumpster was cleaned, lined and sealed before anyone jumped in the water.
"Safety, economic development and creating new jobs are all top priorities, but we must also focus on creating a city that is fun, unique and exciting. Attracting and retaining more people and businesses will help increase our revenue and stop the $30 to $60 million yearly deficits that force us to cut important services and jobs," said Seelbach.
The party also included a cookout, live entertainment, summer wear fashion show and a photo booth.
