Cincinnati park in running for 'America's Favorite Park'

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati's riverfront park is in the running for "America's Favorite Park" and a $100,000 grant.

The community is being asked to vote at www.livepositively.com before Sept. 6. Site visitors can vote for 'Cincinnati's Riverfront Park' as many times as they want.

The "America is Your Park" campaign encourages families to get active outdoors in parks across the country and vote to help their favorite park win one of three recreation grants made possible by Coca-Cola.

The new name of the park is Smale Riverfront Park, but this contest began prior to the recent name change, so online visitors should vote for "Cincinnati Riverfront Park."
